#*Vets & Ladies Summer League# A person or persons is required to organise the Vets and Ladies Summerleague this year. It is not a huge task and once organised runs itself without any intervention. The procedure for organising either event is:- 1. initially send out a standard letter (already drafted) to the local kent clubs and then do nothing for a month or so waiting for the replies (couple of hours req'd) 2. liase with Dave Odds (bar manager) to determine available dates for fixtures. 3. process the applications from the various clubs and orgainse the fixtures. (an evening req'd) 4. send out a pack of info for fixtures, rules and contact details (couple of hours req'd) All the letters and spreadsheets for organising fixtures etc., are already available for re-use, so re-inventing the wheel is not required! That is the entirety of the task required. Apart from the obvious advantages that mixed summerleague brings to the club, Vets (and potentially ladies) summerleague is a good for the club financially. If someone does not step forward and volunteer to take one/both of these events on, the club will lose money. This can only be found in one way; subs and fees!! Please help your club out,. Don't rely on someone else to do this.
