L1XI Update

After our win against Bowdon Hightown this afternoon, we are delighted to officially announce the arrival of new players to Holcombe Ladies 1XI team for the 2018/19 season.

  • A New Zealand U21 international player who played in the U21 Junior World Cup, and plays for North Harbour Hockey Club.

  • A South African international who played at the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games and the Vitality Hockey Women's World Cup in London this summer.

  • An Argentinian/Spanish player, who is coming to us from playing in Tasmania, Australia and winning the grand final with her team, North West Hobarts Graduates HC

You may have seen on Social Media that Ellie Watton has retired from international hockey and is not playing this season to focus on teaching at Rugby School, and Lucy Wood has started studying at Brunel Univeristy and will be playing for Slough HC.  Another player not with us this season is Aspen Cummings, who has also started studying at University in Scotland.

Many thanks Leigh Maasdorp (Head Coach) and Steph Elliott (L1XI Captain)
