EHCT media release Tickets

23 February 2019 - Media Release for EuroHockey Club Trophy (Women) 2019 – Ticket Sales launched

Tickets for the EuroHockey Club Trophy 2019, hosted by Holcombe Hockey Club, are now on sale.

The event taking place between 19-22 April 2019 will be the first time that Holcombe HC has hosted a European Hockey Federation tournament and is relishing the challenge of the organisation. Priced from £10 adult and £5 child, there is a range of ticket options available for hockey and live sport fans alike.  Tickets can be purchased from www.holcombe-ehct.info/tickets.

Jon Rye, Club Chairman, said “I am pleased to announce the launch of our online ticket sales as it means that we have reached another milestone in the hosting of this prestigious event. You may be part of the hockey family already as a player, umpire, official or spectator or just have an interest in watching top-quality live sport.”

“It is great to be able to bring European Hockey back to England, and in particular to the Medway and surrounding Kent area.  We look forward to welcoming everyone to Holcombe Park in April.”

The hosts, who won the Club Trophy in 2018, will be joined by Spain’s Club Campo Villa de Madrid, Ireland’s UCD Ladies HC and Belarus’ HC Victoryia Smolevichi.  The line up is completed by Belgium’s Waterloo Ducks HC, Edinburgh University HC from Scotland, Ukraine’s MSC Sumchanka and Dinamo-COP Moscomsport from Russia.

Leah Wilkinson, Holcombe Ladies 1XI player and captain of Wales Women’s Hockey Team, said “After the success of last year’s European campaign in Dublin, I am excited to be able to play at Holcombe Park this year. We have some tough matches ahead and having that home support will be so important to us. It’s not every day you get to represent your club in a European competition and it’s even more special to play it at home.”

More information about the event, volunteer roles, and sponsorship opportunities can be found on the event website www.holcombe-ehct.info.
