We are nearly at the end of another successful season in many different ways and already plans to develop our club further next season are being worked on.  In discussion with Karen Major and some of the ladies members, I would like to see if we can recruit members of the ladies section to the following positions:

Ladies and Girls Development Officer - voluntary

Do you have the initiative to recruit more ladies and girls players to the club?  If so, we are looking to recruit a female role-model to develop those opportunities.  Working closely with the Director of Hockey and Ladies Chairman, there are realistic expectations of increasing participation of ladies and girls playing within the club, and also developing the number of ladies coaches, umpires and volunteers who support the various opportunities throughout the week.

Ladies and Girls Coaches - voluntary

Would you like to give something back to the club and to the next generation of ladies players?  Opportunities will become available at the main ladies club section training and girls junior training for coaches next season and we are looking for dynamic and enthusiastic ladies members to become coaches.  Coaching courses will be subsidised by the club in return of coaching hours and support.  Further development opportunities will also become available throughout the season in conjunction with the local sports development team.
